Advanced Communication Technologies, LLC Inks Partnership Agreement With Global Technical Publications Provider GGS

Local Lehigh Valley Woman-Owned Technical Publication Firm in New Partnership.

Center Valley, PA – Advanced Communication Technologies, LLC (ACT) of Center Valley, in an effort to further broaden its services available to major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the Northeast, has announced the formation of a new partnership with the technical publication services division of GGS Information Services of York, PA, a global technical documentation provider.

The move is seen as a strategic arrangement whereby ACT, headquartered in Center Valley, PA, can further broaden its offering of professional business services to include the global resources of GGS – in areas such as the development of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), wiring and schematic diagrams, data conversion work and the development of parts databases supporting the aftermarket, along with offshore and near-shore solutions.

Started in June 2005, ACT is headed by Staci Hangey, president, who employs several skilled professionals in her Center Valley office. Previous client work has included projects for the U.S. military as well as several medical equipment manufacturers.

The firm utilizes such software programs as Solidworks 3D Drafting design systems, various Adobe products as well as the MS Office Suite in its production process.

“We at Advanced Communication Technologies are delighted to now be partnering with GGS, a well-recognized technical publication service provider that employees a staff of nearly 500 employees, that works with many major global companies. This new partnership will provide OEMs within our region of the Northeastern U. S. improved access to a wider array of publication services. While at the same time delivering our typical level of outstanding service to our clients,” noted Hangey.

“GGS is looking forward to this new partnership with ACT.  Anytime you have two successful companies and are able to combine their synergies to help the client, it’s a great move,” noted Carl Fraser, Executive Vice President of the Technical Publication Services division at GGS.

The new GGS partnership with ACT will also integrate many aspects of GGS’ quality program into future deliverables created for ACT customers. GGS was officially awarded recertification on February 20 by the British Standards Institution (now BSI Management Systems America, Inc.), for meeting compliance to the strict requirements of ISO 9001:2000 quality guidelines for work performance, providing official quality certification for an upcoming three-year period.

More information concerning the variety of publication services now available to commercial OEM and military clients through the new Advanced Communication Technologies - GGS partnership is available by contacting ACT directly via e-mail at www.actpubs.com, or by calling (610) 282-0677.
