CNH America LLC Inks New Multiyear Contract for
Technical Publications Support Work With GGS

ISO-Quality Certified GGS Information Services Continues Relationship Begun in 1999

YORK, PA – GGS Technical Publication Services, a division of GGS Information Services of York, recently signed a new multiyear contract agreement with CNH America LLC, part of CNH Global N.V., a subsidiary of Fiat S.p.A.

The agreement covers all production aspects involved in the areas of technical writing, the authoring of complex technical illustrations, information formatting, creating web-based training programs, equipment schematics and wiring diagrams, and working with CNH’s Catalog Management System (CMS). The agreement notes that GGS will also provide technical assistance in other areas which develop over future years in support of the evolving CNH agricultural and construction equipment product lines.

The recent contract renewal extends the GGS and CNH work relationship up to December 2009, and covers five different CNH locations in the U.S. and Canada where GGS employees are presently working.

The GGS-CNH relationship has been a model example of partnership cooperation and a close-working relationship since mid-1999, when it was initially developed between GGS of York and the management of CNH’s nearby New Holland, PA agricultural equipment production facility.

Since that time, both firms have grown in size and scope, with Case New Holland coming under the ownership of the Fiat Group, part of majority shareholder Fiat S.p.A. of Italy, and further expanding its product offerings. The GGS CNH account team has grown more than 30% in size over those years, most notably at CNH’s Burlington, Iowa facility where GGS staff has literally doubled in number.

Said Jeff Landis, GGS General Manager, “CNH has been happy with our past GGS performance and wants to continue to utilize our skills and expertise in the future as they move forward with other innovative and exciting products in new areas.”

Noted Carl Fraser, Executive Vice President for GGS Technical Publication Services, “We are delighted to be able to maintain the close relationship which we’ve enjoyed with the management of CNH, developed over many years of working together. More importantly, we look forward to many new challenges and professional opportunities which the future will hold for our GGS employees both in York and at five CNH locations across the U.S. and Canada.”

GGS Information Services was awarded recertification on March 21 by the British Standards Institution (now BSI Management Systems America, Inc.), for meeting compliance to the strict requirements of the International Standards Organization’s ISO 9001:2000 guidelines for quality work performance.
