GGS Announces Creation of Quality Management Systems Post;
Retiring EVP Lloyd Kendall To Hold New Senior-Level Position

YORK, PA --- GGS Information Services, of 3265 Farmtrail Road, an ISO 9001:2000 certified provider of technical information and book publishing services, has announced the creation of a new senior management level position to specifically oversee the company’s growing involvement with compliance, review and certification to the globally-recognized standards associated with the ISO quality program.

Overseeing this new initiative will be Lloyd Kendall, currently Executive Vice President of the GGS Book Services Division.

Kendall will resign from his present position as Executive Vice President of GGS Book Services, effective January 1, 2006, following more than 13 years of management service, and will head up GGS’s quality programs in his new role as Vice President, Quality Management Systems.

In this new post, Kendall will be responsible for directing a quality standards program which he first helped to develop in 1997, and which, after numerous updates and enhancements, is still in use by GGS today. His intimate knowledge and insight into the firm’s production processes and workflows, combined with his thorough understanding of the complex ISO certification process, have helped GGS maintain its ISO standing since its first quality audit and review back in March 1999. The establishment of this new position, and the selection of Kendall to head GGS’ quality program, reflects the company’s rededication to its strong ongoing ISO commitment, via a game-plan known as the GGS “Path to Excellence.”

This new initiative strives to communicate information and develop stronger company-customer ties with those existing clients who may seek to put a highly monitored quality assurance program into place at their respective work locations.

“Lloyd’s work and attention to detail for many years have been the firm foundation that our ISO quality certification has been built on. It is only natural that we look to him to take a more visible role in our company-wide quality efforts, as he transitions from our Book Services division,” noted Company President Paul Kilker.

Kendall has nearly 35 years of senior management experience. Before joining GGS in 1992, his career included such positions as President and Vice President positions with ATLIS Publishing Services, Inc., Syntek Engineering and Computer Systems, Inc.; Sterling Software, Inc.; and Informatics General Corporation.
