GGS Names Publishing Industry Veteran Mark Shoemaker Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning

YORK, PA --- GGS Information Services, of 3265 Farmtrail Road, has announced the recent appointment of Mark Shoemaker to the position of Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning.

Having served previously in a number of senior management positions with TechBooks, formerly known as York Graphic Services of York, PA for many years, Shoemaker joins GGS as the firm seeks to broaden its overall reach into the major customer markets it serves.

His appointment also comes at a time when the company continues to expand its global reach by establishing non-U.S. based production operations, a key directive designed to better meet delivery and pricing issues faced by customers internationally.

Shoemaker, a resident of nearby Red Lion, PA, will be responsible for the planning and implementation of major new strategic business initiatives, the creation of high-value organizational synergies, the development and training of GGS’s field sales force, and the establishment and monitoring of performance metrics and other indicators as relate to the company’s current certification to ISO9001:2000 quality standards.
